Saudi police arrests four men for trying to set a man on fire

Saudi police arrests four men for trying to set a man on fire

Human Lives Human Rights: Saudi local reported on Friday, that four citizens were arrested for pouring a flammable material on a person in order to set him on fire and filming the incident.

The men shared a video of themselves holding a person by force and pouring a highly flammable substance on him.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the spokesman for the Northern Border Police, Colonel Mutaib Al Khamis, said that security authorities have arrested four Saudis who appeared in videos circulated on social media.

Al Khamis added the men’s action constitutes a crime adding they did so to promote their accounts on social media.

He indicated initial legal measures were taken against them. They have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
