Human Lives Human Rights: During the seventy-five years that have passed since the establishment of the fake Israeli regime, the military operations of the Palestinian resistance groups against the Zionist occupation were consistently defensive. In other words, in all the military engagements conducted by Palestinian fighters thus far, the Israeli side typically acted as the initiator of the conflict, compelling the Palestinians to defend their land.
During the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, conducted extensively by the resistance fighters in the occupied territories on the morning of Saturday, October 7, 2023, a significant and meaningful transformation took place. For the first time, the nature of their military operations shifted from a defensive posture to an offensive one.
In this operation, the Palestinian resistance employed a range of offensive tactics against the Zionists. Notable measures included:
- Paraglider Attacks
- Two-Person Gyrocopter Assaults
- Missile and Rocket Offensives
- Cyber Attack on the Mobile Phone Network in the Occupied Territories
- Partisan Strikes by the Special Operations Unit of the Resistance in the Occupied Lands
During this operation, one of the tactics that caught the Zionists by surprise was the use of underground tunnels by the resistance. These tunnels served as both silos for storing missiles and as platforms for the entry of combat units from Hamas and Islamic Jihad into the occupied territories.
From any perspective, the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm in the occupied territories signifies a fundamental shift in the Palestinian resistance’s approach. It is no longer confined to a defensive stance within Palestinian territories, employing one-dimensional tactics. Instead, it has evolved into an extraterritorial offensive characterized by significant tactical and operational diversity. This transformation is a decisive warning to the Zionist occupiers, transcending mere ideological slogans.
