Reports indicate that clashes, artillery shelling, and extensive aerial bombardment have occurred in Rafah, near the border with Egypt. Al Jazeera, citing its correspondent in Gaza, highlighted the scale of the airstrikes conducted by the Israeli military in Rafah and its vicinity.
Additionally, there have been intense clashes reported near the Kuwaiti hospital. Al-Mayadeen also reported fierce confrontations between resistance forces and Israeli soldiers in the northwest area of Rafah.
According to Al Jazeera, 63 people, including children, have been killed, and many others have been wounded as a result of Israeli airstrikes targeting residential homes and mosques in Rafah. Some media outlets, citing Palestinian sources, have suggested that the death toll may be as high as 100 individuals.
