Human Lives Human Rights: Hezbollah has alleged that the Israeli regime is using cluster bombs to strike at innocent civilians in Lebanon, asserting that these actions constitute a violation of international law. According to a statement from Hezbollah’s public relations and media office, Israeli forces targeted the region between the towns of Hanin and Al-Tiri with these banned weapons.
The statement accused the US-supported Israeli regime of taking advantage of the international community’s inaction, enabling it to carry out such attacks, which have included strikes on hospitals and rescue vehicles. Hezbollah criticized these bombings as part of a continued assault on both Lebanese and Palestinian communities.
In addition, the mayor of Al-Mu’aisra in Lebanon commented on the violence, claiming that the Israeli regime is exacting revenge on the local population for their unwavering support of the resistance movement. He remarked, “The enemy is retaliating against us for our loyalty to the resistance. Contrary to their assertions, there are no missile launch sites or military facilities in this area. They are perpetrating violence to intimidate us, but we will remain united in our support for the resistance.”
The ongoing attacks have seen Israeli forces repeatedly target civilian neighborhoods, with recent reports indicating strikes on residential buildings in the Toul settlement in Nabatieh as part of their continued military campaign against Lebanon.
