Human Lives Human Rights: The Al-Far’a refugee camp near Tubas in the occupied West Bank witnessed a deadly Israeli forces raid, resulting in the deaths of at least four young Palestinians, as reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry on Monday. This marks the second such incident within a fortnight, according to a ministry statement.
In a parallel account, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that its teams provided urgent medical assistance to six seriously injured individuals in the Al-Far’a camp, swiftly transporting them to hospitals.
An Anadolu reporter indicated that the Israeli army concluded the two-hour raid, withdrawing from the refugee camp. Local sources reported the detention of three Palestinians during the operation.
The latest casualties contribute to the grim toll of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank, reaching 301 since October 7. Additionally, over 3,100 others have been injured, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The Al-Far’a camp raid on Monday morning reportedly led to armed clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces. Last Friday, Israeli NGO B’Tselem released two videos documenting the Israeli army’s point-blank execution of two Palestinians during the December 8 raid on the Al-Far’a camp.
Israel’s retaliatory air and ground assaults on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least 18,800 Palestinians, predominantly children and women, with 51,000 others sustaining injuries, according to health authorities in Gaza.
