Human Lives Human Rights: According to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, the number of child martyrs has reached 18,044 and female martyrs 12,402 since October 7, 2023.
The center emphasized that the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip has not stopped since the ceasefire agreement.
The group continued: With the resumption of the Zionist military attack, women and children are on the list of victims, and women are between losing their lives or losing their children.
Raji Sorani, the director of the center, asked how many women and children must be killed for the world to consider what is happening is a war crime?
He continued: About 18,000 children and 13,000 women were killed without international condemnation and without consideration for human and moral issues.
Sorani went on to say that a number of governments, especially those that claim to respect international law and the rule of law, are covering up this crime.
He further stated that silence and inaction in the face of crime not only show a double standard; it also threatens the entire international justice system.
The Palestinian center announced: The effects of the genocide in Gaza are not limited to the children who are killed, but also have severe psychological effects on mothers who are unable to save and protect their children.
The center called on the international community to take urgent and serious steps to stop the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, and to demand that the Zionists take responsibility for this issue and hold them accountable under international justice mechanisms.
In this regard, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced: Thousands of children in the Gaza Strip are in need of urgent treatment due to chronic malnutrition, as a result of the serious humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. The number of children in need of treatment due to malnutrition has increased to 3,600 children. This situation has occurred in the shadow of the continued complete closure of the Gaza Strip since March 2, which has stopped the entry of food and humanitarian aid. In a way, mothers and children in Gaza suffer from a serious shortage of basic aid on a daily basis.
The Zionists have resumed the war for 33 days and have been targeting civilians and refugees in the Gaza Strip with brutal attacks.
